so... for figure drawing class, we went on a trip to the descanso gardens. and while we were there we did like quick 5 minute drawings, with just colord chalk/pastels with water n' brush.
rock in a stream.
rock in a pond.
it was pretty cool. i got to let my expressionistic side out. :P
Current project in my graphic design class at skool. Pretty much we're given companies that were created by classmates, and then we do logos for the companies.
This is an abstract logo for Strontium Industrial. This business specializes in selling materials (like sheet metal) to interstellar galactic empires and their fleets 'n ships 'n tie fighters. And such.
And this is a pictographic logo for YumFoodZ, an extremely generic snack bar brand thing. Nom nom.
There's a third logo that's all text-based, but it's lame as hell and there wasn't much work involved, so I'm not gonna put that. (it's not completely finished either. :P)
All in class doodles. One of the absolute best times to draw.
i watched this one korean-styled western recently, the Good the Bad the Weird. Kickass movie; same concept as the Good the Bad, the Ugly, but with the badassery of films from the Far East.
this is a fun little doodle i did for it. :P
what it says in my sketchbook: Yoon Tae-Goo (guy getting shot): You're the cruelest, most cold-hearted, viscious Korean I've ever met! You can't do this to me! Park Do-won (guy shooting): The price on you shot up. REAL HIGH.
