I meant to post this up after one of my teachers had his child in March. The whole entertainment department wanted to put in work for a baby book welcoming the newborn; here's the piece I made for the teach and his family.
Yaaay! Btw it's one of my assignments from Adv. Perspective with colors splashed in. Guess for which teacher? :P
When Spring term ended I got picked up for an ambitious project revolving around the Earth's creation. Sadly though I had to drop it because I was involved in a car accident and on top of trying to deal with insurance companies, my lawyer, getting another car, and doing other paid work, I didn't have the time to continue with the project anymore. :[
Sorry for the lack of updates! Been busy working all summer since term ended, but not much revolving around entertainment design. Here's one of the projects I picked up. Working on a trade booth design and graphics for a friend; he sells shoes and is up for a trade show in Vegas next month! If any girls out there are looking for shoes, check out my friend's site!
First time in ACCD's Entertainment Design Intern Show this spring, and it was great! Here's my latest business card and resume, as well a few pics from before, during, and after.
Hopefully someone taking a peek at this blog is looking to hire haha. It'd be really great to finally get out into the industry and work. Good news is that I already have one voluntary concept and pitch job in queue so far for the summer, and now I just need a full time (and hopefully paid) position at a studio and I'll be set for the summer! So far It's week 13 now at Art Center... One more week to finish up everything for all my classes. Wish me luck!
Finally had my first class for the term. Feels almost like Vis 2, only this time we'll work in PS. Here's a fun little tidbit from the class.

Nooooo car accident! Big rig pulled a hit n' run on me around 1:40 last night and knocked me into a bunch of traffic cones... I'm glad to be alive but... Such a downer... I love my car. I've been in other unhappy and disastrous accidents before and it's always brought me out alive... Such a good car I'll fix you soon...
Saturday night we celebrated the last moments of our break with a small Art Center party at a friend's house. Happy MLK Jr. Day, and see you guys at school!
Group of friends and I decide to head up to Big Bear this past weekend. We barely planned this, but got some money last minute, and then booked the cabin last minute.
We didn't hit any slopes, but we did airsoft in a dried river bed, cooked some hearty food, and had a lot of deep bonding moments, and good old fashioned fun all day and night.
My dad failed at his attempt to make crispy rice sushi today. When I was trying to tell him how do it I thought the best way was to do a sketch/diagram about it. So here's a shoddy 10 minute Photoshop drawing. :P
