Inside... Aire?

So if plein aire normally refers to painting outdoor landscapes... what is painting interiors? .-.
Starbucks in The Village in Walnut, CA.

I don't really know, but this first try at interior painting is damn hard. Took me nearly three hours. And I just barely realized I didn't even finish. I'm missing two of the ceiling lamps. :[

Err.. I'll try fixing it later. :P

Blehg...

Phothoshop run in class.

Practicing more and more without dropping in photo textures. And...
I need to make more interesting designs in general to toss into these things. :/

AlchemicalScribbleScrabbleDragonthing

Still being bored in class and liberal with Alchemy. Just trying some loosey goosey out.

Hrmmmmm...

Speedy I did during class just now. Only a little bit bored.

I forgot the stylus for my tablet so I trackpadded the whole thing in Alchemy. It'd be interesting for me to try and turn it into an actual painting... maybe tonight...

Edit: I accidentally deleted some posts earlier when I was trying to remove a label. :[

Nathan Fowkes Studyyyy.

Did an hour study of one of Nathan Fowkes' newest pieces; a waterfall in Costa Rica. It's hard to get to that same amount of detail and impression as he did, but I did my best to capture the atmosphere and color.

Original piece here below, and one of Nathan Fowkes' blogs here.

Thanks for dropping by!
